Connecting the Food System to Health Equity in D.C.'s Wards 7 and 8

At HLG (Hey Life’s a Garden), our work is rooted in serving and uplifting underserved communities, particularly in Washington, DC’s Wards 7 & 8.

We believe that access to food, green space, education, and opportunity is not a privilege and it’s a community right.

Through partnerships, community-led projects, and environmental solutions, we are working to restore balance between people, place, and possibility
